Drawn for a thread called "Let's draw our characters as Hindu Gods!". I decided that Durga suited my favorite heroine better than any other in the pantheon, and did a little research to make sure I did her justice. Of course, I swapped out a number of the traditional weapons in favor of modern police equivalents, and replaced Durga's tradtional lion (or tiger) companion with the wolf, for obvious reasons.
